More Fire!

Well we have a huge fire in Mariposa, which is about 20-30 minutes from us. The travel time depends on the how many CHP are out on the highways and byways. We are safe from the flames where we are but we are not safe from the smoke. The fire has grown to over 20,000 acres. The fire fighters are working so hard and this is a tough one.

I can only imagine how the fire fighters must feel by now...20,000 acres! That's immense!!

As for the bunny, I will presume that at least your son or husband gutted and removed the pelt for you! It's so unusual here during hunting season when the annual notice goes up stating all of the regulations that hunters are supposed to comply with. Something like an x amount of rabbit, deer, or pheasant for the month. Rabbits, for whatever reason, are in the higher number category. I guess they produce like mad no matter where they inhabitate.

I'm watching the news stories about the fire in CA. Kent wanted me to call and make sure you were all right this morning. I was like "Are you CRAZY!!! It is 3:30 a.m. her time!" lol
