In my house this is an over sized drawer filled to the brim and barely
closeable. As my poor husband was looking for a travel mug this morning he
discovered my secret. My
Tupperware drawer contains the story of my life. I has very old
Tupperware lids that belonged to my mother in law whose containers are long past gone. In there you will find old thermoses that my children carried with them back and forth to kindergarten, metal glasses from kids early years,
sippy cups that have been long forgotten from toddler guests, travel mugs with missing lids, water bottles from various promotions, reusable soda cups, old jar rims from jam jars long
scense broken and you will also find the last place that I do not want to clear out. I have very few places in my house that I will not purge easily...
lol. I relieved my closet last summer of the numerous pairs of cowboy boots I have owned from the
beginning of my marriage 24 years ago. That was tough! Now the
Tupperware drawer! I
don't know if I can bring my self to go through the memories and then to discard the
physical reminders.
lolol. I did promise my husband though that he will be able to find a travel mug with a lid...
lol.

I have the same problem. Have all the lids and no bowels. :)
I have that same "pastic" CABINET at my house...you can get lost in it. I totally go through it and purge stuff and then buy more and end up in the same place.
The boots thing, oh sista...let me just say I am finally down to about ten pair. I too kept every pair I bought probably since my college days, NOT cool. At one time I had an entire closet just for my boots! Remember when colored "ropers" came out? I think I had every color! THEN I went through a custom made phase, now those are really cool ( I still have a pair or two)...the first to go were those FUGLY fat babies, ugh...
Keep up the good work!
